ATS Webinar on the LungMAP Biorespository (BRINDL)

WEBINAR NOW AVAILABLE

The ATS Section on Genetics and Genomics, Assembly on Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology, and PhD and Basic and Translational Scientists Working Group are pleased to announce the first webinar in a series focused on the LungMAP resource.

This webinar is scheduled for January 10, 2018 at 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time.

We will be joined by Drs. Gloria Pryhuber and Ravi Misra (University of Rochester Medical Center) to conduct a live webinar presentation on the BioRepository for INvestigation of Diseases of the Lung (BRINDL), the LungMAP Biorespository. They will present information regarding the source of tissue specimens used for the human pediatric biospecimen repository, types of samples currently available, and how to get access to samples. This will be followed by a live walk-through of the repository details. Dr. Tom Mariani (University of Rochester Medical Center) will also join as a panelist for this discussion.

This session will be moderated by Drs. Katie Steiling (Boston University Medical Center) and Maor Sauler (Yale University).

We will use a web-based platform, which allows real-time introduction to the BRINDL and to discussion both online and on the phone making this an interactive journal club. Please use a landline phone or VoIP for the call.

You will need to register for the webinar in order to participate in the journal club.

We invite your participation for this session and look forward to another insightful discussion. We currently organize monthly sessions, and welcome your proposals for interesting articles and/or presentations. Please contact your Assembly journal club coordinator with any suggestions/questions.
